First to everything is that I'm a husband and a father. We have two wonderful boys, Trevor who's 5 and Austin who's 10. I've been married to my amazing wife, Jill, for 18 years and she keeps everything running especially during the busy wedding seasons! I'm a dog lover and we have a two year old golden doodle, Teddy.
I love shooting weddings! I learned when I started that if I focus all of my energy on one area and do it well it will become second nature. That can be said for anything in life.
I hope you enjoy the photos of my family.
12 years. My first wedding was for a friend and it was 8-8-2008
My best estimate is 1000-1100.
I live in Prosper, Texas. I was in Castle Rock, Colorado for 8 years and recently relocated. I'm still offering services in Colorado but am actively booking weddings now in Texas. I LOVE TEXAS!
Typically, no. Depending on the location and details of your wedding there may be an additional cost for a hotel room or car rental. This is pretty rare.
Yes! I take a lot of photos throughout the day but inevitably there will be some that aren't worthy of delivering. However, they're all yours.
Nope. Everything gets retouched to some level. Also, RAW images (that's geek talk for the file type straight out of the camera) can't be viewed on most computers without some form of photo editing software. You'll receive them in JPG format which allows you to use them in any fashion.
It usually takes around 4 weeks from your wedding day. However, I do like to give you a sneak peek along the way. Also, if you need a photo or two for thank you cards just reach out and I'm happy to send some over.
No. Although I'd love it if you do! Also, depending on your wedding package you may have a print credit to use from your gallery. If you don't order through me I highly recommend using a reputable lab.
No. Again, that's a whole expertise in itself and left to those who do it full time. I provide the still photography only. I can certainly offer some great referrals though!
Well, "just you" sounds a little harsh. But yes, it will be me shooting your wedding and not outsourcing to anyone. For Colorado couples, a second photographer can be added for an additional cost. For Texas couples, I don't have anyone yet that I'm comfortable offering as a second shooter. I'm an individual company and sole proprietor. There are other companies who will send anyone to show up. I can't say if they're good or bad but the reviews listed on my website are all for me.
Certainly not. If your timeline is solid it isn't a necessity. I'm happy to go over your timeline to help with that.
I do. A lot of it. You don't need to worry about that.
