Lindsay and Steven's Spruce Mountain Ranch Wedding
Thursday, July 09, 2015 2:49AM

Lindsay and Steven were married at the beautiful Spruce Mountain Ranch on June 5, 2015.  They are an incredibly kind and wonderful couple and I loved every minute of working with them.  The venue is my absolute favorite in Colorado because of the staff and the amazing photo opportunities throughout the grounds.  Spruce Mountain Ranch is located 7 miles off the 25 freeway in Larkspur, CO and when you turn off the road into the gates it's quite a scene.  I met with Lindsey as the ladies arrived in a limo and we started the day off with photos of them getting ready in Ruby's Cottage.  Steven showed up with the guys a short while later and got ready in the cigar room ...

Jenna and Lance's Vail Wedding
Wednesday, July 08, 2015 8:52AM

Jenna and Lance were married on June 26, 2015 in Vail, Colorado.  The day started with Jenna and the ladies getting ready at the Landmark resort.  Lance met us there and we then got ready for their "first look" nearby.  That was a bit of a challenge since the local art festival was taking place but we were able to find a secluded area and it turned out to be perfect!  When Lance saw Jenna for the first time it truly was genuine and emotional.  She looked amazing as you can see in the photos.  We then took the gondola's to the top of the mountain where their wedding took place.  It was at the Vail Wedding Deck and the views and backdrop for the ceremony ...

Kelly and Drew's Wedding in Vail, CO
Tuesday, June 30, 2015 10:30PM

Two weeks ago I was honored to photograph Kelly and Drew's wedding in Vail, Colorado.  The ceremony was held at the the Beaver Creek Chapel and the reception was at Maya inside The Westin Riverfront.  The day started off with a few photos with Kelly and the ladies at The Highlands Westview Condominiums.  After Kelly was dressed we headed to the chapel for Kelly and Drew's first look with the river as our backdrop.  I set Drew up on the bridge and once Kelly was ready Drew turned and saw her for the first time in her wedding dress.  We spent a short time taking photos by the river and outside the church before it was time for them to exchange their vows and then ...

Sunday, October 06, 2013 1:14PM

September 7, 2013 I was fortunate enough to meet and work with Lindsay and Edward Sweeney at their wedding in Las Vegas, NV in February of 2011.  They had come from Maryland and were getting married at The Little Chapel Of The West and the reception was at The Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.  Lindsay's brother, DJ, was one of Edward's groomsmen.  DJ's girlfriend at the time was Katy and she was one of Lindsay's bridesmaids.  The wedding and reception was a blast it was the start of something special!   I received an E-mail from Edward letting me know that DJ and Katy were now engaged and also inquiring if traveling to Maryland was a ...

Kelly and Adam's Cheesman Park Wedding
Wednesday, August 07, 2013 3:08PM

July 6, 2013 - Cheesman Park in Denver, CO Kelly and Adam's wedding was very special for me as they were one of the first weddings in Denver that I booked after my move from Las Vegas.  That was a very nervous time for me because I didn't know how I would be perceived in Denver coming from "Sin City" and wether my style was what people were looking for.  Kelly gave me full control over the photography and when that happens things click.  We got some amazing photos of their day which started at their apartment and photos with Adam and the fellas.I then met up with Kelly and the ladies at the Embassy Suites in downtown Denver for their "getting ready" photos and a few of ...

The elegant wedding of Kate and Chris at the Las Vegas JW Marriott
Monday, May 06, 2013 9:01PM

April 20, 2013 - JW Marriott Las Vegas, NV I met Kate and Chris last fall at a Starbuck's one Sunday morning.  "Not too early" I remember Kate asking when deciding on a meeting time and she told me to look for the "tall couple".  It was obvious when they walked in and I knew immediately who they were.  Chris is at least 6'1 and she isn't much shorter and they look like models.   We got to know eachother on an early Sunday morning (my request) in September to shoot their engagement photos at the Smith Center.  I find it easy to work with couples and I often hear how comfortable they are with me when we're finished but engagement photos are a great way to ...

Juliana and Brian
Friday, December 07, 2012 8:44PM

Juliana and Brian - October 14, 2012 This wedding was another first for me!  I had never photographed a Greek Orthodox wedding and I was truly excited to be a part of this wonderful couples' wedding.  The ceremony was very special as it was performed by Juliana's father and it was amongst an intimate group of family and friends.  After the ceremony we made a quick stop by Sunset Park for a few photos of the new Mr. and Mrs. Veek before heading to a private residence for the reception.  Everything seemed to be planned perfectly and the entire group was truly a pleasure to be around.  Here are a few photos from their special day:

Rachel and Geoff
Friday, December 07, 2012 7:52PM

Rachel and Geoff - October 6, 2013 It seems like it was yesterday that I met Rachel when we moved in next door to her.  She was 16 and had an overwhelming drive to become a firefighter someday.  That dream became a reality several years ago and I was fortunate enough to photograph her graduation.  Fast-forward to 2012 and she's tying The Knot to a great guy and fellow firefighter.  Geoff and Rachel are two of the nicest people and are perfect for eachother.  Their ceremony and reception was held at their beautiful house in Henderson and it truly was one of the nicest and well planned weddings I've been a part of.  Rachel went "Pinterest" on the decorations ...

October 11, 2012 So it's been a long time since I've been able to sit and write.  I knew when I added this BLOG to my site it was going to be a stretch to be able to keep up with it.  The last few months have really been quite challenging but wonderful at the same time.  Austin had his first birthday and he is truly what keeps me going when things are hectic.  As much as I'd like to go all the way back to April and write about each wedding, the truth is, I don't know that I'll have the time.  I've come to accept that I might be able to write occasionally and if I don't mention a wedding here and there, there's no reason behind it other than I just ...
